Enjoy a delightful drive out along Rte. 9 or just poke around our\u00a0<\/strong><strong>bucolic<\/strong><strong> Berkshire hills. <\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Please be sure to stop at our General Store in Williamsburg &#8211; there&#8217;s no place like it in all the world. We&#8217;ve been around since 1977 &#8211; going on 50 wonderful years. The original store opened in 1876, 101 years before we arrived. You&#8217;ll find many historical appurtenances still in in use.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Now, we don\u2019t for a minute want you to confuse us with a store of the same name in Williamsburg, Virginia. Microsoft Edge has designated us the \u201cmost charming General Store\u201d in all of Massachusetts, and one of the\u00a0<\/strong><strong>most charming in all 50 states! Once there, <strong>drive a\u00a0mile or so, go over the railroad tracks, then center lane.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0 \u00a0Drive across Routes 5 &amp; 10<\/strong>, then\u00a0<strong>a couple more miles to a rotary and\u00a0<\/strong><strong>take the first exit\u00a0onto Route 9.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Drive 5 miles to Williamsburg.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>We&#8217;re on the left in the center of town.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">FROM THE EAST<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0Route 9 all the way to Coolidge Bridge over the Connecticut River<\/strong>. Your goal is to take a right after driving over the river, but highway construction may keep you alert. After a couple miles, go over the railroad tracks and stay in the center lane. Drive straight <strong>across Routes 5 &amp; 10<\/strong>, then\u00a0<strong>a couple more miles to a rotary and\u00a0<\/strong><strong>take the first exit\u00a0onto Route 9.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Drive 5 miles to Williamsburg.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>We&#8217;re on the left in the center of town.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">FROM THE WEST<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><strong>\u00a0 Route 9 all the way<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>We&#8217;re 45 minutes from Pittsfield.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>After a\u00a0long, easy ride down the hill from Goshen, turn into the village where you&#8217;ll find us<\/strong><strong> on the right, close by a couple historic buildings.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">FROM THE NORTH<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0Route I-91 south to exit 20<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>merge onto Route 5<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>stay in the right lane<\/strong>\u00a0and take a\u00a0<strong>right at the lights.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0 \u00a0Drive a couple miles to the rotary and\u00a0take the first exit<\/strong><strong>\u00a0onto Route 9.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Drive 5 miles to Williamsburg.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>We&#8217;re\u00a0on the left in the center of town.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Williamsburg General Store 12 Main Street, Williamsburg, Mass&#8217;tts 01096 We&#8217;re on Route 9, eight miles west of Northampton.
