Williamsburg General Store
Village Center - Route 9
12 Main Street, Williamsburg, Massachusetts 01096-0757
We're just eight miles west of Northampton. Williamsburg is the gateway to the Berkshire Trail. It's a delightful drive along Route 9 and other scenic byways into the central Berkshire hills. Some of our employees live out that way and can help you find special places.

OWNERS: Heather Majercik (she's also our manager), Carol and David Majercik (store founders and Heather's mom and dad.)

EMPLOYEES: More than 20 great people work for the store. You'll find most of us out in the store where we can be of help to our customers. Occasionally one of our four talented bakers will appear with a tray of hot breads or pastries. You'll see some of us in action as you browse our web site. However, not everyone wanted their picture taken, so you'll just have to come in and meet them in person.

YEARS IN BUSINESS: Since 1977 (going on 35 wonderful years.)

HOURS: Open most every day of the year from 8:00 AM 'til around sunset. We're closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas days.

WINTER HOURS: 8:00 AM 'til 6:00 PM every day of the week
SPRING HOURS (Begins with Daylight Savings Time, March 11, 2012): 8:00 AM 'til 7:00 PM

CALL US: 413-268-3036.  We welcome your call from 9:00 AM 'til 6:00 PM any day of the week.

HOLIDAY BAKING: Our customers have long enjoyed our holiday bakery items. Our next big one is Thankgiving (November 22, 2012), but you'll find seasonal goodies all year 'round. Our strawberry rhubarb pie is a hit with lots of pie lovers. Wild blueberry pie isn't far behind. And, of course, we bake up fresh apple pies as long as Ed Scott's orchard provides us with fresh apples from his special cold storage room - usually into June.

MAIL ORDER: We don't (yet) have a way for you to order merchandise on line. However, if you know of something we carry and you'd like us to mail it to you or to someone else - no problem. We'll charge $5.00 for packing it up and getting it to the post office, and add whatever the post office charges for stamps, insurance, etc. If you want us to ship something unusually large or fragile that requires extra fuss with packing it up,  we'll have to charge a bit more, but we'll first let you know the cost so you can decide whether you want us to do it for you. Call us at 413-268-3036.
