And how much does Tara like making pepperoni cheese bread? Doesn't her smile say it all? Thank you, Tara, for your constant great baking (and for your fantastic smile.)

TARA W_BREAD

LOVE THAT BAKERY COUNTER!  Dyanne has been with us for many years and you can bet she enjoys the bakery counter most. She's holding up a tray of CHOCOLATE WALNUT TWIST COFFEECAKES and SINGLE CINNAMON BUNS. Four different CREAM CHEESE COFFEECAKES are to her right; HOT APPLE PIES and CHERRY PIES are to her left. There are more home made goodies under, behind, and almost all around her. Such a job!

Fresh apples from Scott's Orchard in South Ashfield, just enough sugar and cinnamon, dotted with butter, all cozied up with hand-mixed dough. Our Wrapples and apple pies are made only with freshly peeled apples, just the way New Englanders have insisted on from time immemorial.

WRAPPLES ON_PLATE ROLLUPS ON_PLATE
WRAPPLES ARE WONDERFUL!                       ROLLUPS ARE FANTASTIC

KATY MAKES WRAPPLES. The name WRAPPLE comes from WRAPPED APPLE. Pretty clever, eh? Carol Majercik created these back in 1980. They've been our most popular pastry ever since. Making them takes a lot of talent and caring.

Our customers also like these pastries filled with different fruit jams. We call them ROLL-UPS. You'll always find Wrapples and roll-ups on our bakery counter.

Katy recently left our bakery to become a mother. We can't thank her enough for being so wonderful for us. Before she left she showed the main steps in making Wrapples. Rollups are done the same way, but with fruit jams instead of apples.

SPREADING APPLES
Katy peeled and chopped the apples and mixed them with sugar and spice.

Bread Counter, with hot cheese bread

And this is Chris, our head baker, who is justifiably proud of all she and her assistants produce.

Wrapples have long been our most popular pastry. Fresh apples and sweet spice wrapped in pie crust.

Milk and home made cookies - what more could a person want?

A slice or two of lemon pecan bread slathered with a dollop of strawberry jam - yumm!
