| Our bakers arrive early in the morning to begin their magic. Not too early, mind, because they want to be sure you find something fresh and warm when you arrive. One baker’s day begins by scooping up unbleached flour, adding fresh yeast, warm milk, and some delicious cheese. Time passes and soon a visit to the oven finds some of the most scrumptious bread you’ve ever tasted. Meanwhile, another baker has peeled fresh apples and hand-mixed a batch of pie dough. These will result in our homemade apple pies and our very popular Wrapples. More bread dough is made, a bit of sugar is added along with cinnamon and raisins. Topped with icing and voila! Cinnamon Raisin Buns are on the counter, teasing you to bring some home.

Day in and day out, seven days a week, we make a fantastic array of wonderful baked goods. Here are some you can look for. We don’t make every last kind every day, but you’ll find most everything fresh and ready for your table. BREADS: Cheddar Cheese, Parmesan Cheese, Roasted Garlic Cheese, Dilly Cheese, 3 Cheese, Everything Bread, Cheese Onion, Country White, Whole Wheat. Many of our breads are also made into rolls. COFFEECAKES: Cinnamon Raisin, Cinnamon Pecan, Raspberry Cream Cheese, many other cream cheese coffeecakes. TREATS: Wrapples, several other fruit roll-ups, Fruit Pull-Aparts, a variety of scones, Pizza Bread (snack size), Many kinds of Brownies, Pecan Squares, Fruit Squares, and whatever else our bakers may feel inspired to make. COOKIES: Ginger Snaps (our most popular), Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter (We grind our own peanuts), Shortbread, Oatmeal Raisin, and seasonal specials. We want you to know that we created Wrapples way back in 1980, and they’ve been our most popular pastry ever since. Our sister store, Huntington Country Store, also makes Wrapples. In fact, they’ve registered the name. The Huntington store bakes every day, too, and has lots and lots of beautiful gifts. It's right there on Route 112, next to the Gateway Regional School complex, and a great place to visit.
